Graduated with master’s degrees in both Chemistry (ESCOM) and Marketing (ESSEC), Nicolas Bétin is Director of Product Strategy Packaging Materials EMEA and has endorsed the role of Sustainability Business Leader for all of Sun Chemical.
With over thirty years of experience of managing inks & coatings, specialty chemicals, resins and engineering plastics in markets as diverse as adhesives, automotive, packaging converting, and printing, he joined Sun Chemical in 2009 as Managing Director France-Benelux, from Alcan Packaging where he served as European Sales and Marketing Director. He had previously held posts in General Electric Plastics, Royal Dutch Shell, Akzo Nobel, and Rohm & Haas. He has led key initiatives in sustainability including light weighting, halogen free, recyclability and bio-sourcing.
