Michael Finkenzeller (Dipl.-Ing.), born in Wangen im Allgäu, is married with two children. He studied Mechanical Engineering at BA Ravensburg and gained some first design expertise in the Department of Defense Technology at Krauss-Maffei AG, Munich. This was followed by a degree in Industrial Engineering from FHW Pforzheim. From 1994 to 2002 responsible for the worldwide sales activities of Maschinpex GmbH, Friedrichshafen, supplier for sorting and inspection machines for the pharmaceutical industry and feed systems for pharmaceutical packaging machines. Since 2003 with Hermann WALDNER GmbH & Co. KG, in charge of Sales for the Department DOSOMAT packaging machines.

- Development of the pouch variant, based on the longtime experience gained in the area of premade cups and trays.
- Seamless integration of peripheral components from system suppliers (such as coding or weighing systems) into packaging lines.
- Use of servo drive technology in packaging machinery.
