Marco Izzi is the Marketing Manager for Polyethylene at Basell International Trading FZE in Dubai.
In his role, he is responsible for developing marketing and sales strategies for polyethylene products manufactured by LyondellBasell and its Join Ventures, and managing their promotion and positioning in the region which includes Africa, Turkey, Middle East and India Sub Continent.
Previously, he worked as an Application Development and Technical Service Engineer for Basell Polyolefine GmbH in Germany.
Prior to Basell, he has been a quality manager and R&D manager at Manuli Stretch and Berry Plastics.
He holds a Master’s degree in mechanical engineering at the University La Sapienza in Rome and an MBA at the Private University of Applied Sciences in Göttingen (Germany)“
