Dennis Calamusa is Founder and President & CEO of ALLIEDFLEX® Technologies, Inc. a Sarasota, Florida based Sales, Marketing & Consulting Group providing global Flexible Packaging Machinery Systems and Technologies to the North & South American markets.
Dennis has dedicated the last 25 years of his career to consumer packaging and in particular has supported the global shift toward flexible packaging innovation including the popular Standup Pouch packaging format which is realizing rapid growth in a wide variety of markets. Clients of ALLIEDFLEX® include many of the multi-national consumer product and global flexible packaging companies. As a result, he and his company have participated in "transitioning" hundreds of successful new product / package introductions utilizing innovative flexible packaging as a tool to re-invent a mature brand or create a new value added product category.

- Dennis is a contributing editor for FLEXIBLE PACKAGING MAGAZINE where he authors his column titled Flexible InsightsT. He is also a contributing editor to PACKAGE DESIGN MAGAZINE, as well as a member of their Advisory Board, providing innovative flexible packaging design strategies to the package design industry.
- Dennis launched the first SME Standup Pouch Conference Series in North America in 1996 which has since evolved into today's popular Global Pouch Conference program organized by Packaging Strategies.
- Dennis has successfully distributed and sold hundreds of Standup Pouch Machines in North American from some of the most globally recognized and respected Standup machinery brands including (Klockner Bartelt USA) Laudenberg (Germany), Toyo Jidoki (Japan), Nishebe (Japan), Leepack (Korea), SJ Pack Korea (Korea), Mespack (Spain) and Robert's (USA). Based on this experience he is considered the "Authority in Standup Pouch Packaging" and has lead the charge to its global growth and continuous momentum.
- Dennis is an avid speaker and moderator, having presented at over 150 packaging conferences and venues around the world. Dennis is a professional member of the IOPP [Institute of Packaging Professionals] and the former Vice President of the IOPP / Florida Chapter.
